About Us:

Gilgit-Baltistan Stone Masonry Association (GBSM) is not-for-profit association registered under companies act section 42, 1984. This association serves as a common platform for the masons associated with stone craft in G-B. This initiative is taken by Rupani Foundation under project-Training in Stone Masonry in Gilgit-Baltistan, aiming at supporting labour markets through structured trainings in stone masonry with improvised tools and techniques. The project is supported by the TVET Reform Support Programme, which is co-funded by the more European Union, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Federal Republic of Germany and being implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in Pakistan.

Our mission is to work as a representative body for all the masons living across Gilgit-Baltistan - that empowers by providing market linkages and protects rights by advocacy.

To empower and protect right of every mason in Gilgit-Baltistan.
